Today we read "Santa's Stuck." It was about how Santa was delivering presents and ate lots of snacks. Also how he got stuck in the chimney and how all his animal friends helped him out.

We went to "Character Counts." It was about smoking, and what it does to your body. Don't smoke around me because I might be allergic to it and it stinks.

Thursday, November 18

Today the 5th and 6th grade practiced the program, PIRATES, for our grandparents. HM was a pirate in the chorus, and DD was a prisoner. We got cookies afterwards. We get to take our Reins of Hope trophies home today. Our plants are dying so we need to throw them away. Tonight we do the real program for our parents.

Wednesday, November 17

This was the final days of Reins of Hope. We got trophies and a ribbon for putting on a horse show. The trophies are all different sizes. We rode Junior, Doc, Melanie, and Fancy. It was great. To thank our volunteers we made treats for them. There was fudge, puppy chow, and trail mix in our treat sacks. We hope that we can go again in the spring.

Friday, November 12

At the musical we had rules like we have at school. Sit quietly, be polite, stay awake, be respectful and character counts. We had fun at the BHS musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. We enjoyed the musical very much. We did a very good job at the musical and got a treat when we returned to school.

Friday, November 5

Our class attended an assembly this morning on Fire Safety. He talked to us about what it is like to be a fire fighter, and how to be safe. He also gave us homework, we are suppose to look to see if we have a smoke detector, and if we do make sure it works by checking the batteries.

Today we got to eat our lunch all together in the classroom, then we went our to recess and all played a game of soccer.

We all took a spelling test on our words, and did very well!

Tuesday, November 2

We did a lot of fun things, we had our youth friends over and made turkeys, and we read books. After our youth friends left we took AR tests and then played a game. Pretty soon it was time to put things away and go to lunch and recess. This afternoon we worked really hard to complete our assignments and got computer time at the end of the day.
