Today was an awesome day! First, we had a Halloween parade in school. Then we looked at magazines and made Frankensteins from pictures. We had art with Mrs. Rogers today too. We made horses out of paper. At the end of the day we carved a pumpkin. It looks a little funny. When we put our hands inside of it, it felt slimy. Mrs. Smith too a picture of our costumes. We had an Ironman, Master Yoda, and Darth Vader. We can't wait for Halloween!

Today we worked with the 6th grade helpers. They helped us with money skills, and read with us. We enjoy their visits.
We went to Reins of Hope this morning. The horses all had Halloween costumes on. Fancy was a princess, Dot was a bunny, and Junior was a pumpkin. We like our time at Reins of Hope.
Our class also received a few more stars today. One was for walking down the hall quietly. The second star was for walking to class quietly. If we get 100 stars, we get to have a party!

Our plants are growing really tall. They are growing because we give them the right amount of water. They have sunlight and good soil and good air.
Today our Youth Friends came and we made ghosts. They were cool because they were scary. We made them by putting white paint on black paper. Them we folded it in half and rubbed them together. We also read a book with our friends and took an AR test. We all played a game together. We had a fun time at school today.

We planted bean seeds last Friday. We put in lots of soil to help it grow, and water but not too much. We had a fun time planting seeds and watching them grow. Some of them are small, some are high and some are in the middle. This was a Science project.

Playing UNO with the sixth graders!
Today the sixth graders came to our classroom. We played UNO and took turns playing the game. We also followed directions. There were two groups of students and we had a fun time. We also got to eat Smarties because we did a good job with listening. We like had fun with the six graders and hope we can do it again soon.
